Keen will work with the current president, Dan Muenzer, in a transitional capacity before taking over full-time on August 1.
June 23, 2020
By: LNW Staff
The TLMI Board of Directors has announced that Linnea Keen will take on the role of president this summer. Keen will be working in close conjunction with TLMI’s current president, Dan Muenzer, in a transitional capacity for the month of July and will officially assume the position full-time as of August 1, 2020. Keen brings an established track record of management achievement and experience to her new role, in addition to wide-ranging industry technical expertise. She began her career in the label printing industry 20 years ago as a coating engineer for material supplier UPM Raflatac. Her decades-long trajectory at UPM included the roles of technical service and product management, marketing director, global business development management, strategic sales management and vice president of sales. Prior to Raflatac, Keen spent five years in process engineering and management in other industries. Keen attended her first TLMI meeting in 2004 and has been an active association supplier member, serving on the TLMI Board of Directors in addition to the association’s Environmental Committee. “I am both thrilled and humbled to be appointed as the association’s next president and to continue the membership-driven directives that Dan Muenzer has put in place,” she says. “Having been part of TLMI for 14 years, I know first-hand how dedicated this association is to its converter and supplier members, and to its position as a leader and comprehensive resource for the greater industry. I am eager to begin this new chapter, and to work with each and every TLMI member to ensure the association continues to serve them and to help their businesses thrive.” Michael Ritter, TLMI chairman, comments, “I speak on behalf of the entire TLMI Board of Directors in saying we are delighted Linnea Keen will be the association’s next president. Dan Muenzer has worked hard over the past three years to increase the association’s outreach among its membership, in addition to partner associations throughout the printed packaging industry. I am confident the association will continue to grow in Linnea’s extremely capable hands, particularly during this time of uncertainty when having access to real-time information and resources is more critical than ever for our members. I want to extend a very warm welcome to Linnea and I look forward to working closely with her.”
